Referrals

ELA welcomes referrals from schools, pediatricians, psychologists, and other professionals. When appropriate, we may also provide families with information about trusted community providers to support a student’s needs.

Comprehensive Psychological Testing

For those seeking evaluation and/or diagnosis of cognitive, social, emotional, behavioral, and/or learning deficits.

We encourage families to talk with their child’s pediatrician, teachers, and school team when considering whether psychological or educational testing may be helpful. A comprehensive evaluation by a licensed psychologist can sometimes provide deeper insight into a child’s learning strengths, challenges, and overall learning style, helping guide effective support strategies.

Schools offer evaluation services through established processes, and some families also choose to pursue an independent evaluation based on their preferences or timelines. If requested, ELA is happy to share contact information for independent community professionals, including Dr. Dara Delancey, who provides comprehensive evaluations. With parent permission, outside evaluators may collaborate with our team to help support thoughtful and individualized intervention planning.
