​Traditional Math Instruction and Intervention
That Builds True Mastery

At Evans Literacy Associates, we provide both grade-level instruction and targeted intervention - all grounded in explicit, traditional teaching methods.​ We do not rely on confusing strategies or trial-and-error learning. Instead, we focus on clarity, structure, and mastery.

Like reading, mathematics must be taught explicitly, sequentially, with many opportunities for practice with multisensory methods. 

​

Starting in August 2026, we will offer daytime small group and individual instruction and intervention.

​

For Students On Grade Level:

We provide traditional math instruction that helps students:

  • Learn standard algorithms step-by-step

  • Build accuracy and confidence

  • Develop fluency through consistent practice

  • Stay strong and prepared for future concepts

For Students Who Are Struggling:

We offer intensive, 1:1 intervention that:

  • Identifies the root cause of difficulty

  • Targets specific skill gaps

  • Rebuilds missing foundations

  • Moves students forward with confidence and mastery

All instruction, whether grade-level or intervention, is:

  • Explicit – Clearly taught, never left to guesswork

  • Structured – Skills taught in a logical, sequential order

  • Mastery-Based – Students move forward only when ready

  • Results-Driven – Progress is monitored and measurable
