Our Program
Our clinic’s Stellar Start kindergarten readiness program is designed to build the foundational skills children need for a confident transition into school. Through engaging, developmentally appropriate and play-based activities, we strengthen pre-reading abilities, phonemic awareness, and alphabet knowledge to support early literacy growth. The program also introduces key early math concepts such as counting, number recognition, patterns, and basic problem-solving. In addition, children develop fine motor skills essential for writing, including pencil grasp, hand strength, and letter formation. Finally, we work on rhythm, rhyme, sequencing, and synchronization.
Our key curriculum resources are:
1. "A Song a Day" - the only curriculum specifically designed and sequenced to use singing and music-making to develop young brains for reading!
2. "Learning Without Tears" - a multisensory program with lessons for pre-reading, pre-math, fine motor and writing skills and much more!
Stellar Start creates a supportive, structured, and small group environment where young learners build readiness, confidence, and a love for learning to propel them into Kindergarten.
